VSB – Technical University of Ostrava, Czech Republic
The VSB - Technical University of Ostrava (VŠB-TUO) was established in 1849 and is based in the city of Ostrava, an industrial city in the north-east of the Czech Republic. As one of Czech’s largest public universities, VŠB-TUO has a long tradition in high quality education and research in engineering, IT, and economics related fields. The University provides Bachelor's, Master's and Ph.D. study in technical and economic sciences across a wide range of study programs. The Technical University of Ostrava has 7 faculties with about 22,000 students and is the fourth largest public university in the Czech Republic.
